The CC2640 beacon is a product developed by TI's high-performance wireless SOC chip CC2640.
Product Overview
The CC2640 beacon is a product developed by TI's high-performance wireless SOC chip CC2640. The CC2640 is a cost-effective, ultra-low power 2.4GHz RF device. Extremely low active RF and MCU currents and low power mode current consumption ensure excellent battery life, allowing small coin cell batteries to be used in energy harvesting applications. The CC2640 includes a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor that operates at 48MHz the same frequency as the host processor and features a rich set of peripheral features, including a unique ultra-low-power sensor controller for when the system is in sleep mode. Connect external sensors and/or autonomously capture analog and digital data.
